This is a painting that has been hanging around unfinished for a long time. The photo was actually taken on the same aspen grove trip from my last post. So again, good memories. It was good to figure out how to get it done....I am really enjoying these outdoor scenes. Do you think it is "spring fever"?
the composition is so striking and then you add that electric blue to the flower giving it so much energy. i get lost in the wonderful background looking at every detail again and again, a real jungle :)
