Three of a Kind

6" x 3" oil on linen panel
$50 plus $5.95 shipping

I found these little pears and they were so cute! They just about jumped into my shopping cart! I painted this one on a small piece of a linen panel. It is 1/2 the size of my small paintings....Kind of like the pears - half the size of a normal pear!

"Shadow"

Today's painting is part 3 of "painting with my friends". In this painting I love the way the stem shadow defines the shape of the pear it is resting on! What a cool way to emphasize form!

"Reflection"

I found this chubby pear hiding in the bin at Publix Supermarket.....leaf and all! I hand carried it through the check out, to the parking lot and into the car.....When I got home, I took a picture of it, since I wasn't sure when I would get the chance to paint it.....This is part 2 of painting with my friends, our project for this week. We all had a great time last week, and everyone took home a nice painting! An exciting adventure has begun!

"One"

This is the second time that I have painted this pear. This time I painted from a photo instead of from an actual set-up. I also have the original painting to work from.... I am getting ready to paint this project with a group of my friends.......It will be a fun afternoon!
