I found these little pears and they were so cute! They just about jumped into my shopping cart! I painted this one on a small piece of a linen panel. It is 1/2 the size of my small paintings....Kind of like the pears - half the size of a normal pear!

So, after painting this pear a few times, as a sample and as a demo, I decided to see what would happen if I tried to paint it again in 20 minutes....well, it actually took 30 minutes...but I was happy with the looser feel and the brighter, prettier colors. My original post was called Lucky Find....posted on September 14.

I doesn't seem possible that it has been so long since my last post.....As promised, here are two of my favorite red pears! Aren't pears great? They have a definitely recognizable shape....I love that!
