More Treasure

Another shell...summer is SO great! A friend let me borrow this shell to paint.......It was pretty to look at and the shadow was interesting....but the best part was the warm glow that the light made on the bottom of the shell as the light passed through it......I almost missed it....but I am so glad that I saw it before I was finished. Pass-through light....beautiful!

Beach Treasure

Just returned from a great workshop in Bozeman, Montana! 5 days of demonstrations and individual instruction with Elizabeth Robbins. This time of year, I always think of the beach. I painted this before I left, but could not get the photo to upload. I got a tip from artist and blogger, Susan Blackwood.......do not put quotation marks around your title....It seemed to work for this one. Hooray! Posting problem solved! I think. Thanks, Susan!
